01′ KX250 Subframe & Shock Removal/Install
I recently bought a 2001 KX250 for $1100, and it’s time to start taking care of maintenance & repair items. The video below shows how to remove & re-install the subframe & shock.
You’ll have to reference this video for the following follow up vids:
- Shock is leaking. Need to rebuild it
- Shock bearing is shot
- Linkage bearings are shot
- Grease swingarm & linkage with Bel-Ray waterproof grease
- Carb clean and verify jetting (plug read and silencer spooge show rich)
- Install Vforce3 reeds included in sale
While the subframe was removed, I went ahead and cleaned the air box & air filter with the No Toil Kit.
